Republic Polytechnic to Host SEA’s 2007 KODE5 Event

(SINGAPORE)November 13, 2007 – After the launch of KODE5 China and the recent announcement of KODE5 Taiwan, the Global Gaming Revolution continues to heat up in Asia. Today, KODE5 is proud to add the KODE5 South East Asia Qualifiers to the list of KODE5 2007 events. Beginning with a series of online qualifiers, Counter-Strike 1.6 and Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne gamers will prove their strength and battle for a spot for the KODE5 SEA Finals. Once there, the top competitors will collide at Republic Polytechnic to earn their spot at the KODE5 Global Finals. With Global Supporters Cooler Master, GIGABYTE, Corsair Memory, and Presenting Sponsor CHIMEI, KODE5 South East Asia will assemble the region’s most talented and dedicated gamers.

Details for the KODE5 South East Asia event are as follows:

KODE5 South East Asia Qualifiers

DATES: November 30th ~ December 2nd, 2007

SLOTS: 32 per game

To allow as many gamers to compete as possible, a series of online qualifiers will be held from November 30th to December 2nd for both Counter-Strike 1.6 and Warcraft III gamers. During this period, the top teams and players will secure their spot at the KODE5 South East Asia Regional Finals.

To register for this exciting event, gamers have to first sign up for a free account on KODE5.com, and then register at the KODE5 SEA website (http://www.kode5-sea.com).

SLOTS: 28 slots per game

With the top teams and players determined, the stage will be set for one final battle at the KODE5 South East Asia Regional Finals. This year, the top teams and players will proceed to Republic Polytechnic from December 14th to 16th. There, gamers will experience not only a gaming tournament, but also be treated to stage matches, game commentaries, and displays of the most advanced gaming hardware from KODE5 Supporters. The winners from this exciting event will earn the right to represent South East Asia at the KODE5 Global Finals.

The registration procedure is a mess. I followed what it said by registering on this website and then I head to www.kode5-sea.com it redirects me to the World Cyber Games ACG website and there isn't a registration option there, What do i do? Please email me.

admins, please annouce the detailed information about the online qualifier and the final. cz it seems to be hard to understand the registration rule and unfair for online matches (ping, cheat...)
