What is KODE5?

KODE5 masses gamers in 16 countries in a series of regional events to find the best gamers from around the world. The best then fly to an undisclosed location to square off against the world’s gaming elite. With television crews from around the world broadcasting, international media in attendance and mass crowds rioting for their favorites, the KODE5 Global Finals will bring gaming to the center stage like no other gaming event. KODE5 will take competitive gaming to another level and gain the respect that gaming deserves.

What does KODE5 mean?

The KODE in KODE5 refers to the code among competitors. The KODE represents sportsmanship, competition, and the drive to excel – the true essence of the competitive gamer. The code motivates us become greater than we are, inspiring us to reach the next level. The code lives within each of us—an unspoken understanding between competitive gamers.

The 5 symbolizes the five continents of KODE5, illustrating the true scale of what we are trying to do—spreading gaming to all corners of the globe, and providing a stage where gamers can show their true talents and abilities to the world.

Five continents of gamers united by a single code. That is the meaning of KODE5.
