Southeast Europe’s Top Gamers Get Ready to Rumble
(Constanta, ROMANIA) – January 20, 2009 – This week, the KODE5 Global Gaming Revolution returns to Europe for the next KODE5 event announcement. Today, in partnership with the Professional Gamers League (PGL), KODE5 is proud to reveal KODE5 Romania. Counter-Strike 1.6 gamers from across Romania can test their mettle with through a series of exciting online qualifiers. From there, the top teams will advance to the KODE5 Romania Regional Finals, held once again at Forte Games, Romania’s largest gaming café. These teams will then compete to see who will represent Romania at the KODE5 Global Finals in May. With Global Supporters CM Storm and QPAD, the KODE5 Global Gaming Revolution brings competitive gaming to the forefront with events in over 16 countries across the globe.

To cover as much ground as possible, KODE5 Romania begins with an exciting 5-day online qualifier that begins on February 9th. At the KODE5 Romania Regional Qualifiers, the top Counter-Strike 1.6 teams from Romania will try their best to grab one of the 32 available spots at the KODE5 Romania Regional Finals.
To sign up for this event, gamers can go to the official KODE5 Romania website (http://romania.kode5.com) and register their team. As spots are limited, all teams are encouraged to sign up as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

NOTES: 1st place advances to KODE5 Global Finals
From March 21st to 22nd, the top 32 Counter-Strike 1.6 teams from the KODE5 Romania Regional Qualifier will meet at Forte Games for the KODE5 Romania Regional Finals. Located in the city of Constanta, Forte Games is Romania’s biggest and best gaming café, and is a regular host to many of PGL’s LAN events. The winners from this event will represent Romania at the KODE5 Global Finals.
